How to prepare beets

I love beets simply prepared, sliced and served in a salad, maybe with fresh mozzarella & tomato with balsamic vinegar or with arugula and goat cheese.  I never made them at home so I googled how to prepare beets and found this great clip that helps you make them easily without making a mess and turning everything red.
