I don’t want to rub it in, but I will. It’s 80 degrees in LA and my friends back in NY are freezing! It is easier to wake, workout, and start your day when the sun is out. But don’t let the weather hold you back from being your best.
Here’s a way to make sure you have healthy snacks on hand, wherever your travels take you. Always have a healthy option in your bag. I munched on these during my 6 hour flight and they gave me the energy to work on my new book.
Go to your health store (Trader Joes, Whole Foods) and buy all natural, low sugar granola bars. They’ll give you an energy boost, plus some fiber to hold you over until your next meal. My favorite are KIND bars.
Also, I always travel with pure, 70% dark chocolate. Trader Joe’s has a 100 calorie bar, perfect for serving size control. How do you know it’s pure? The first ingredient is cocoa mass.
