Recipe- Green Smoothie

Spinach Smoothie

 

Below is a delicious, fast, green smoothie that includes all the essentials of quality eating I call W.O.F.L.S which stands for Whole, Organic, Fresh, Local & Seasonal.  It’s also a great blend of healthy protein, carbohydrates and fat.

Is it delicious?   All 3 of my kids gave it 2 thumbs up!

Ingredients

Spinach, 1 handful, fresh

Banana, 1 whole

Mango, 1/2 cup, frozen

Sunflower seed butter or other nut butter, 1 tbsp, sunflower seeds are less allergic than tree nuts & peanuts

Greek honey, 1 tbsp

Water, 2 cups

Directions

Blend in high speed blender and enjoy! Bon Appetit!
