I was saying, studies show people who cook are healthier than people who don’t. But that’s common sense, right? I stretch everyday. Still can’t touch my toes, but I’m not getting any tighter. I recommend daily stretching for all my clients.This is a variation of the Bretzel. Extending my leg stretches my hamstrings. I hold for 30 seconds, then repeat on the other side. I find I can turn better while driving and hit a baseball without herniating a disk :-) . #stretching #healthcoach @peterkofitsas peterkofitsas.com

Mexican Dirty Bowl.I made this at my last good demo and it was a hit!This dish contains lots of ingredients, but you can use just your favorites:-greens (I used baby butterhead, arugula, & romaine-quinoa-black beans (I used Trader Joe's Cuban Black Beans)-lentils (prepared from TJ's)-avocado & guacamole (you can add one or both)-pico de gallo-green chillis (TJ's fire roasted- they're more sweet than spicy)-grape tomatoes-red onions-olives (I love kalamatas because I'm Greek :-)-olive oil-lime juice and zest-cilantro-chimichurri sauce (cilantro, garlic, olive oil, sea salt, lime juice- this is Argentinian but with the cilantro it works in a Mexican dish) #mexicanfood #foodbowls #healthcoach @peterkofitsas peterkofitsas.com #recipes #healthyfood

I’ve observed that people who are willing, are more likely to succeed compared to people who rely on willpower. By definition, willingness means to be prepared, ready. Willpower means to use control and restraint. I’ve found the latter are not sustainable, especially when it comes to being healthy. So, my friend, maybe consider being willing, and it’s more likely your dreams will come true. #healthcoach @peterkofitsas #willingness #willpower peterkofitsas.com
