Please help me support Special Olympics- Polar Bear Plunge!

Well, if you know me, you know how much I hate the cold.  So, to step out of my comfort zone I signed up for the Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge.  I hope you participate in one of 2 ways.

Why am I doing this?  The obvious reason is to help the Special Olympic athletes. The other reason is to step out of my comfort zone and explore life changing experiences.  The final reason is because my friend, who is a cookoo bird talked me into it :-)

I’ve found that when we step out of comfort zone, we take one step closer to the person we are meant to be. See you on the 26th!!!

Justin, Kathleen and Ashley did it!  They hit all their health goals and the bonus was weight loss.  I asked them what helped them the most.  They said it was a combination of everything the club taught them and working as a team, but most importantly the Fit Lifestyle Tracker.

They also said these things helped:

  • Drinking more water
  • Switching to plain yogurt and adding fruit (less sugar)
  • Working together to plan meals and workouts
  • Writing everything down
  • Being accountable to someone else

Justin, Ashley, and Kathleen joined the Fit Friends’ Revolution just 1 week ago and they already have lost weight, but more importantly they’re taking control of their health.

How did Kathleen & Ashley lose 4 pounds each in one week and Justin lose 2 pound in just 4 days?

The Red Fox is doing it again. This is her 2nd NYC Nautica triathlon and I love when I get the phone call, “OK Peter K, you ready to coach the Red Fox once again”. I usually get the call a couple weeks before and scramble to put together her training routine, trying to juggle between her interviews with Warren Buffet and Bill Gates. But this woman will not let her health suffer because of her insane schedule. You gotta admire that! Go Liz!
