I’ve blogged about this many times but it bears repeating.

I was hanging out with good friends recently and I was asked the questions above, which I get asked everyday.  I always ask the most important question- “Do you know your BMR and are you tracking food?”  If the answer is no, then you won’t succeed.   Read below, Rockefeller would have agreed.

Here’s what I told her she must do:

1. Find your BMR- (My tracker will do that for you) and subtract 500 from it and eat those calories consistently

2. Log you food with my tracker. You must do this because estimating in your head does not work.

3. Be accountable to a coach or mentor.

4. Do your Peter K workout- 20 minutes/day, 5 times per week.

In that order.

John D Rockefeller Sr was the richest man in the world and ammased the largest fortune in history. When he was asked how he did it he said he kept a meticulous ledger.  Numbers don’t lie. Be like Rockefeller.

BTW- I highly recommend the book, Titan, by Ron Chernow, about John D. Rockefeller, Sr.

NUTRITION is the single best determinant of great health.  Are you eating the best that you can?  Take this test:

  • Do you eat berries everyday? Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries- make them organic
  • Do you eat whole grains- brown rice, quinoa, barley, whole wheat pasta or are you still eating refined bread and pasta (aka sugar)?
  • Do you eat great sources of omega 3’s like salmon, walnuts, beans and olive oil?
  • Are you using olive oil as your primary fat or are you still eating butter?

If you are eating all these great foods and still don’t look and feel super fantastic then you must, must, must, I repeat must, keep a food log. There is no better way to take control of your eating (nutrition). Email me for a free food log now.
