Join the Fit Friends’ Revolution and get your FREE Fit Lifestyle Tracker >

justin, kathleen and ashley

Justin, Kathleen and Ashley did it!  They hit all their health goals and the bonus was weight loss.  I asked them what helped them the most.  They said it was a combination of everything the club taught them and working as a team, but most importantly the Fit Lifestyle Tracker.

They also said these things helped:

  • Drinking more water
  • Switching to plain yogurt and adding fruit (less sugar)
  • Working together to plan meals and workouts
  • Writing everything down
  • Being accountable to someone else

Stay tuned for more great updates from the terrific triplets :-)

The Perfect Pantry- Which foods you should always have, or else :-)

5 Minutes to Fitness+ Club coming soon

perfect pantry

You know when you sit on the couch, maybe a little bored, then find yourself in the pantry getting into all kinds of trouble?  Or when you really want to make a great meal but don’t feel like running to the market so you eat that frozen thing or some leftover you regret?

The solution is stocking the Perfect Pantry (includes refrigerated items as well). Here’s what we should have on hand.  BTW- Don’t buy the junk and don’t use the excuse that the kids love it :-) . If the junk is there, we will eat it, period. It has nothing to do with will power so set yourself up for success.

  • extra virgin cold pressed olive oil
  • organic berries (fresh or frozen)
  • wild canned salmon, or fresh
  • organic eggs (have hard boiled on hand)
  • broccoli, spinach, romaine lettuce, garlic, onions
  • sweet potatoes
  • Greek yogurt- plain
  • almonds, walnuts
  • brown rice (Trader Joes has pre-maid)
  • herbs and spices
  • kosher salt

Coming next Monday (nutrition blog day)
