No-Junk-Food-Vending

Besides snacking, here are 5 ways to elevate your mood and get through the afternoon without the mad dash for the vending machine.   Of course, make sure to eat a healthy lunch, and then a small snack around 3pm including: fruit, nuts, seeds, or small yogurt and plenty of water.

  • Listen to music to get your heart pumping and your blood flowing. Soundtracks and dance rhythms are great.
  • Sit as tall as you can, tighten your stomach and put a little arch in your back.
  • Visualization- see yourself doing something you love or being with someone you love ;-)
  • Take a deep breath through your diaphragm, release, and repeat 5 times.
  • Smile!  You can’t feel like crud and smile at the same time. Try it.
