FFR member Elizabeth shared these little pods of flavor with me recently.  The people in my office devoured them like aardvarks inhaling ants.  I did manage to get about 30 of these little nibs for only 30 calories (they’re 1 calorie each). Can you imagine eating 30 of anything for only 30 calories and getting anti-oxidants, flavanoids and vitamin E as well?

Well that’s what these little Trader Joes Dark Chocolate Nibs will give you.  Nibs are made from cacao beans and are part of the chocolate making process. By themselves they are bitter but when bathed in dark chocolate they become a tasty snack that packs good nutrition. Enjoy!
