It’s 5:30 am and I’m writing to you from the Tampa airport, reflecting on my weekend in Florida.  We got 2 great videos shot on the beach and lagoon this weekend and then I indulged with some drinks, pizza & wings.

If you know me you know I love to wake up and have my pants fit, feeling energized and ready for a great day. I always say that’s the start of a good day. But what if you wake up bloated and sluggish, like I did this morning?

Well, you have 2 choices. 1. To continue a downward spiral, or 2. To take control of your thoughts.

Both options will drive your next behaviors.  My parents never taught me that I have control over the thoughts I allow myself to think and indulge in. Meaning, I can think about how lousy I feel, or I can think this is temporary and how choosing great food and exercising today will get me back on track.

I choose to look and feel great. I choose to eat a handful of nuts and berries for breakfast and exercise right here in the airport. And that’s exactly what I did. So what if the nice young girl I asked to take the picture above looked at me like I was deranged when I did my 5 Minutes to Fitness+ exercises in the airport. Living a fit lifestyle allows you certain liberties and successful people do things unsuccessful people aren’t willing to do :-) Be different and do something different today.
