Recipe: Horseradish Hummus

Hummus, Horseradish

Hummus is the perfect snack, or appetizer, for any crowd.  This is a classic recipe with some horseradish sauce thrown in for zing.

What You’ll Need

Garbanzo beans, 2 cups, cooked, (or 15 oz can)

Sesame Tahini, 1 tbsp

Lemon juice, 2 tbsp, or more

Garlic cloves, 1-2, peeled

Olive oil, extra virgin, 2 tbsp or more, depending on thickness you like

Sea salt to taste

Horseradish sauce, 1 tbsp

How To Prepare

Combine beans, tahini, lemon juice, horseradish, and garlic in food processor. Process until smooth. Drizzle olive oil through feed tube, continuing to process until oil is fully incorporated. Season with salt to taste and serve with a final drizzle of olive oil. Serve with a vegetable crudite or whole grain pita or crackers.  Bon Appetit!
